Stress is defined as the non-specific response of the body and mind to deal with real or imagined pressures and threats from the external world, having common reactions such as anxiety, dialation of pupils, dryness of the mouth, increases heart palpitations, blood pressure. Slowing down of metabolic and digestive activities, headaches, excessive urination and inability to sleep and concentrate.
These symptoms if ignored in the course of time, act as silent killers, impedes our immune system giving rise to chronic ailments.
